Local API
Enable the HTTP server for playback and integrations
Current UI captured in an isolated session with no client credentials.
The local HTTP API powers custom tools — playback controls plus navigation (/nav/*: open URL, watch, playlist, channel, queue list/add/clear). HTTP nav always acts immediately (no share-link ask dialog).
Enable
Settings → API & Integrations → API → enable.
Default port: 13091 (range 9999–39999). Changing the port may require a restart if the API is already running.
Endpoint example: http://127.0.0.1:13091
Status
When enabled, Settings → API shows whether the server is Running or Stopped, plus the current endpoint.
Usage notes
- Bind only to localhost unless you know what you are doing.
- Prefer Authentication for anything beyond personal scripts on your machine.
- Custom clients talk to this API.
